Ah Ping Bah Kut Teh Restaurant @ SS14, Subang Jaya

Was craving for Bak Kut Teh last week, so my friend and i went to Ah Ping Bah Kut Teh Restaurant, a famous Bak Kut Teh restaurant in Subang. The shop is located near Bulatan Kewajipan at SS14, Subang Jaya. It opens around lunch time and sold out around 8pm daily.

We were there around 7pm, thinking that it's still early but the restaurant was already packed with dinner crowd! So if you want to patronize them, make sure you be there early to avoid disappointment.

We ordered Clay Pot Bak Kut Teh for 2 pax and Yau Char Guai (fried dough stick), which is a must-have in Bak Kut Teh.

The soup of the Bak Kut Teh was not thickish, with mild herbal taste. There were only lettuce, fu zuk (dried bean curd skin) and lean meat in the pot of Bak Kut Teh.

The fu zuk (dried bean curd skin) permeated with the porky concoction, which makes the it tasted fragrant in every bite. The lean meat tasted alright to me, not as flavourful as i thought it would be.

There are a few Bak Kut Teh stalls on the same row with Ah Ping Bah Kut Teh Restaurant. However, Ah Ping Bah Kut Teh Restaurant is the busiest of all and is recommended. Food here is good enough, but Klang's Bak Kut Teh is still the best.

Add: No. 42, Jalan SS 14/2, Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
