Nippy Noodle Restaurant @ Kuchai Entrepreneur's Park, Kuala Lumpur

This is rather interesting. Nippy Noodle Restaurant, which is located in Kuchai Entrepreneur's Park, is famed for it's super springy noodles (竹升面). It was said that the dough was flatten and beaten by bamboo pole which is imported from China.

I've seen this in a Taiwan TV programme years ago when they filmed it at an old restaurant in Macau. I never thought that i would see it in Malaysia, in Nippy Noodle Restaurant's open kitchen (it's the Chef's room actually).

The walls were adorned with Chinese painting and Chinese caligraphic art in addition to dim lighting. The ambience here is pretty comfortable.

My friend ordered Crispy Pork Noodle @ RM6.50. The noodles looks similar to wantan noodles. The noodles were indeed springy and the Crispy Pork was crunchy. It was delicious but the portion was small.

I ordered BBQ Sliced Pork Noodle @ RM6.20. You would also noticed that the portion was pitifully small. I loved the noodles. It was very, very springy. The BBQ Sliced Pork however were a bit too sweet to my liking.

We also ordered Pan-Fried Minced Pork and Shrimp Dumplings @ RM5.50. The dumplings tasted real good, with flavourful shrimp taste. The minced pork gave off a hint of Chinese wine which makes it taste even better.
