Went shopping with my friend at IOI Mall, Puchong last Sunday. We settled our lunch at Breeks Cafe which is located next to Seoul Garden at the Ground Floor of IOI Mall New Wing.
Breeks Cafe is an American-styled cafe that offers a very appealing and affodable menu, with ambient light and exciting kerb appeal aiming at young diners.
Breeks Cafe features many American-styled appetisers and entrees and is famous for its Chef’s very own BBQ half Chicken in Smoked or Rosemary Sauce.
Breeks Cafe were having lunch promotion when we were there. You can get a main course, one drink and a soup of the day or a scoop of ice-cream for a value-priced of RM19.90 (excluding tax).
Since the lunch promotion only covers a limited selection of main course, both of us ordered the Hotplate Cajun Chicken Chop. I chose the soup of the day whilst my friend chose the ice-cream.
My friend ordered Iced Passion Fruit Tea. Sweet!
I ordered Iced Honey Lemon Tea. Sweet sweet!
The Soup of the Day. It was Cream Soup of Chicken. I think it is their own cream soup recipe taking into account its distinct taste and texture. I enjoyed the flavourful taste and creamy texture. A must try for soup lovers.
Our Hotplate Cajun Chicken Chop. It was said that Cajun-Inspired Cuisine has strong parallels with Southern United States Cuisine. I've never been to U.S. before, so not sure about that.
The sizeable piece of grilled boneless chicken cutlet is accompanied by carrots, green peppers, shiitake mushrooms and french fries.
The chicken was more tender than usual, with a flavourful taste. The shiitake mushrooms taste fresh but the large-size french fries were oily.
Ooops! The now-finished one scoop of corn-flavoured ice-cream. It was so yummy until i forgot to take a photo of it! The ice-cream has a strong corn taste with kernel corn clearly visible.
We were undoubtedly getting a good value for the meal we order: fresh produce, delectable tastes and sizeable portion. However, we believe this cafe is short-handed. Having said that, the servers were very pleasant and polite. It's definitely "The Place For A Good Meal"!
